What “Sale” or “Sharing” May Mean
Some privacy laws define sale or sharing to include certain transfers of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising.
A disclosure can fall within a legal definition even when information is not sold in the ordinary sense. Other disclosures, including some service-provider, security, legal, or user-directed transfers, may be excluded.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
You may submit a request through our contact page. Select or state that the request concerns privacy and include “Do Not Sell or Share” in your message.
Provide enough information for us to understand the request, but do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed.
Global Privacy Control Signals
You may be able to use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Where applicable law requires recognition and the signal is technically detectable, it may be processed as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending it.
A signal may not identify you across different browsers, devices, or logged-out experiences.
Verification and Processing
We may request information reasonably necessary to understand, verify, and process a privacy request. The verification process and response timing may vary by request type and applicable law.
We may deny or limit a request when we cannot verify it, when an exception applies, or when the law does not require the requested action. If so, we may explain the reason and any available appeal process.
Authorized Agents
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request for another person. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority and may need to confirm the request directly with the person concerned.
No Discrimination for Exercising Privacy Rights
We will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. Differences that are reasonably related to the value of information or otherwise permitted by law may apply in limited circumstances.
Other Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may also have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, profiling, or appeals.
Review the Privacy Policy for more information about general privacy practices and choices.
